Dear Brothers & Sisters,

Welcome!

My bride of over a quarter century, someone I love and admire, never ceases to amaze me. This morning with a big smile she asked me if I wanted to see what she bought. And, while I admit this is sometimes a question that makes me a little bit nervous, the smile on her face somehow told me that this was a good thing – maybe even something great.

Little Jesus
I was, indeed, surprised when she pulled out a clear plastic bag filled with very colorful, tiny, little plastic figures of Jesus. There must have been over a hundred in the bag.

“Do you need a ‘little Jesus’ in your life?”, she asked as that beautiful smile of hers melted my heart.

She then proceeded to tell me about her experience a few days earlier when she went to the gym and there sitting on the controls of the treadmill, she found that someone had left a small plastic figure of the Savior – a little Jesus.

My bride accepted the gift and put it on her computer at work. She smiled several times throughout the day thinking of having a little Jesus in her life. Then, throughout that day, as stressors at her office seemed to affect her or some of her co-workers, she would ask them if they needed a little Jesus in their life and, while sharing that beautiful smile of hers, would point to the little figure by her computer.

She found so much joy in the thoughts of Jesus that she ordered a bag of them over the internet to share with others that might need a ‘little Jesus’ in their lives too.

With that same thought in mind, this blog site has been created. It has been created to remind each of us that as we face the daily grind and challenges life can bring – to keep ourselves centered on the gospel, that good news that Jesus has overcome death and sin, to thank Him daily, and to keep a little Jesus in our lives.

I have decided I need a little Jesus in my life. To remind myself each day, I need regular scripture study, prayer, and inspiration. My problem is that each day, as many of you, I also get tied up in the everyday demands of life. I spend a good deal of time programming the computer – it’s what I do (well one of the many things I do).

To keep myself Christ centered, I decided that am going to put my God given talents of computer programming to work and create a self-sustaining blog. I will commit to setting up an Artificial Intelligence system to generate inspirational and thought-provoking stories. I will also commit to reading and placing what I think are the most inspirational stories on the blog to share with you.

I believe that Artificial Intelligence is a tool God has given us at a time when we need it most. I also believe that while the inspirational stories AI generates may not be true, each of the stories are based on the sum of human intelligence and human experience on which the neural network was trained. Also, I believe, each inspirational story is based on true principles – principles that resonate with our soul as being God given truth.

If you recognize any of the AI generated stories as being like the experiences of someone you may know in real life, please be assured these stories have not been gathered directly from their experiences and are strictly AI generated.

If you are, indeed, someone who has experienced something similar that is inspirational, and if you want to share your experience with others, please feel free to submit it at the end of the blog. AI will filter each submission to determine if it contains inspirational material that focus on the Savior – or if per chance it is hate mail that needs to be discarded. I would love to hear positive interactions, but of course I reserve the right to refrain from posting irrelevant or hateful posts.

May God be with each of you and bless you according to your needs and righteous desires is our humble prayer for you.

We share this journey with you, and ask His blessings in the name of Jesus Christ, your Savior and ours, Amen.
